Nice to see you've come up with the same conclusion. For cars that come with an x-brace this part shows up only on the Z3's. It doesn't show up on the E36 convertible. Just completed the shark injection on my '00 M coupe with no problems, following the instructions. My new Sears 28-71320 ($89.99) 20A chargers ammeter went to 13A during the process. Now I understand why JimC wants you to hook up a battery charger. It started up fine. Will take it out for a ride later today. That said, Mercedes-Benz makes the finest diesel engines on the planet. And if you think that's funny, then you haven't read the road test of the new BMW 330td which outperfoms the 328i and gets something like 20% better fuel economy. Which is important here in Europe. Apparently, at one point BMW engineers came up with a prototype car for BMW brass to drive. The hood of the car was sealed, and was supposed to contain one very special engine. After said brass drove the car, they were very impressed with its performance, and wanted to know more about this engine. At this point hood was opened to reveal a MB production engine, which far exceeded anything BMW had at that point. I tend to disagree on this part. BMW has a reputation for its engine building doesn' t it? I mean they put BMW engines in the McLaren F1, and they ran like a scalded dog. And I do believe that the Rolls Royce uses BMW engines in many of thier cars. And don't forget BMW started making engines for airplanes, thus the blue and white propeller on everyones' cars. So if anything, I would say that BMW is more of an Engine company than Merc Benzo. I have been wrong before, and will be wrong again. So this is only my opinion. Brent

This has happened once before, and I thought it was my fault, so I disregarded it, but yesterday, I had a good gear placement. What gives?
