I hadn't considered that, because up until now I've been on Pilot MXX3s, which are bi-directional. I just bought a set of Sports for the front--when they get switched to the back next year, I'll be in your shoes with you. Only way to fix that is have the tires remounted on the rims. (and what about the first one (that lasted 60000 miles and then failed?)) that leaves me with lubrication problem(s). people have suggested different oils, maybe i need to look into that. whatever oil the dealer's putting in there is what i'm running. i don't even know what kind it is... what about oil starvation that people see/hear at the track? i don't overfill my car for track duty. maybe tracking is causing my vanos to not get oil? ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

Uh, I might be uninformed, but I thought that the VANOS gear was operated by oil pressure or something. Then again, I never saw one...so what do I know? It was featured in a comparison test with a 300ZX, a Supra, and a VR4. The article was named, I believe, "Mid-life Crisis". The 95 yellow M3 there, of course, won the gold with ease. Road & Track recorded a best of 5.4 and 14.1 in a comparison test with the Mercedes C36. That was also a 95 M3. Sorry I responded to this so late - I've just come back from vacation.
