I don't have any back seat passengers (other than my 2 year old in a kid-seat) and would like a better rear view. Can anyone help or point me to where I can find this? I need to remove the rear deck to replace speakers, I have done this before but have forgotten how. Also were is the best place to get a roll bar that allows usage of the rear seat; and harnesses. The other thing I wanted to do was sell my lux package power seats and get comfortable racing that can be used for everyday usage. I apologize for the crudeness/spelling errors in this message as it was written in a hurry. Sincerely Bill Horlacher

Press lightly against guides in forward and backward direction and pull out in upward direction. Twist and pull out guides. Installation: Notches must face each other." TIS 52 20 471. By now, Dave has the pdf. because at this rate I'm about to tell you guys about my last fishing trip. :-) Cheers, Jim E. So this >must >be something with BMW OBDII I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure the clutch/starter interconnect has nothing to do with OBDII or BMW. I believe it's a common simple safety device used on different makes of cars for quite a while. Just a simple switch that doesn't allow starter operation until the clutch pedal is depressed most of the way to the floor. It's outstanding, and it's taught at Summit Point, WV by Bill Scott Racing. Perfect for 17-year-old and 67-year-old drivers, and everyone in between. (These guys train the Secret Service, and they do a mighty fine job.) Dave Hogg My two 18-year-old nephews learned a lot there!

#8. Cotton Seat Covers? - from Thomas E. Tice

Date: Wed, 28 Jun 2000 21:54:33 -0400 From: "Thomas E. Tice" <tetice@worldnet.att.net> Subject: Cotton Seat Covers? Hi Gang, Does anyone out there know of a good source for custom fitted (cotton or denim) seat covers for an M3. I know they're not pretty but black leather and 95 degree southern summers don't mix well. I previously had a set on my E30 that were tailored specifically for the BMW/Recaro sport seats including cutouts for each seat control. They fit perfectly and were great for protecting both hides :-) but I can't find the source (it was about 8 years ago). TIA, Tom Tice 98 M3/4

Date: Wed, 28 Jun 2000 19:23:32 -0700 From: "Jonathan Reiser" <jreiser@home.com> Subject: Re: [E36M3] - Chester Story-ish Hey Gang, So I am sitting in San Francisco International Airport (SFO) yesterday with three hours before my flight (actually I missed my flight and the next one was in three hours) so I read through the latest European Car Mag about the new M3 Convert etc. etc. (there's the beginning and end of my bmw content). Anyway, i finished reading the mag and still had 2.5 hours to go so I turned around to see if there was anything to eat and low and behold I spied the little airport tavern and fellow waiting passengers throwing back the booze..... Ok... So I pick up my stuff and start walking towards the pub there - doing my usual people watching as I walk. I noticed this guy in his 50s, wearing a suit and doing something on his laptop. being a tech weenie (read geek) i looked at the laptop to see what kind it was. In doing so I couldn't help notice the guy was watching and .AVI of some women doing something quite interesting without her clothes on. As I noticed the screen I looked over at the guy just in time for him to see me looking at his montor. He freaked out in embarassment, grabbed a newpspaer and thrust it over his laptop monitor to cover it up. He then turned the color of a lobster as I laughed and kept walkin..... Thought I'd share.
