They seem very nice. Make sure that you get the correct washers because the links need full freedom of movement in that M3. I built these because the turbo piping requires a longer sway bar link. AA provides extension bars but I found that they come loose when autocrossing. Not good. Adjustment is easy. Just install, drive around to settle suspension, drive on to ramps, place weight in driver's seat, loosen lock nuts on one side, remove nylon-insert nut from lower link to bar bolt at one end and adjust it until there is no tension on the bolt. This means that there is no preload on the bar. Good luck and Enjoy! -Matt --- jbergstrom <john@intellectsys.com> wrote: > Date: Wed, 5 Jul 2000 17:54:51 -0500 > From: "jbergstrom" <john@intellectsys.com> > Subject: adjustable sway bar links > > I am considering replacing my nearly worn-out front > stock sway bar links > with adjustable links. I don't think I've heard quite as many Stage 2 owners having this problem. Be sure to check the block deck & head for flatness before making the repair. I reassembled the engine with a new stock gasket & Raceware studs. At that point, the gasket seemed to hold up well but the pistons didn't due to some other probs. With an attitude like that, if you ever decide to head back north, I'll be there to cheer as your taillights fade in the distance. One less person on the road for me to have to deal with... Sheesh, you have a point. Its hard to argue with blistering winters, pollution, and crime. Ok, back to cars. I think I'm going to go drive my M3 down a deserted Southern backroad <OBMWC>. -Bryan Watts

Pretty cool. To think that the E30 M3s are even more rare....mind boggling. Chester ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? (not a typo, ninety three thousand) it sold in 2 days. bellevue bmw had a used S4 (4500 miles) that they sold for over $50,000. honda s2000s are being sold by dealers around here for $45,000. around here, people are actually making money by getting on the lists for these cars, just to sell them to impatient people. the dealers even support it. i called a dealer asking for an S4 a couple seeks ago and he was going to read me a list of customers that were selling their newly aquired S4s for $10,000 over what they paid for them. all these hard to get, low production cars are selling for way more then sticker. the M3 will be the same. i'll bet people will be paying $75,000 for M3s this fall/winter around seattle. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
