P.S. if anyone's going to be at the ICSCC race at portland this weekend, i'll give you a test drive in an S4. ;-P (it's green with light grey interior) ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ************************************************************* List Commands UNSUBSCRIBE - (in subject line) unsubscribes you from the mailing list. *************************************************************

I've got the AA exhaust on my car and my brother-in-law (Hi Huntley) has the UUC. The UUC sounds better, hands down. It's the one I would have bought if it had been available when I got the AA. - Mark '95 M3 '97 528i 5-spd '88 M3, Hennarot ---- Mark Dadgar - Product Manager, Accessories (650) 230-5037 voice - (650) 230-2100 fax mdadgar@handspring.com - Handspring, Inc. #3. LTW Front Splitter - from F. Graziano

Graziano" <fgraziano@monmouth.com> Subject: LTW Front Splitter im looking for one of these badboys but the pricing seems soooooooooooooooooooooooo ridiculous. Racing Dynamics has it for like $1200 and so does Turner Motorsport (or maybe Turner Motorsport is selling Racing Dynamics, whatever). I've also found that Hamann makes one too but couldn't find a price. I don't know the price of the OEM BMW one either but im guessing its way high too. Anyone know where i can get a "reasonably" priced front splitter, even if it's not spring-loaded and all that jazz, it's basically just for looks. thanks, frank

#4. kidney grill theft - from Olin, Jason (NIMH)

Date: Wed, 9 Aug 2000 13:33:57 -0400 From: "Olin, Jason (NIMH)" <jolin@mail.nih.gov> Subject: kidney grill theft Here's a question that no one has ever answered for me. I've had three kidney grills removed from the car over the past three years. Is there demand for these $30 parts, or is someone trying to get to the hood release to steal the car? Should I be worried about this? Should we all be worried about this? There's nothing uglier than an M3 with a missing kidney... Jason Olin National Institute of Mental Health '97 M3 2dr Cosmos Black PS-Thanks for the info on local MD dealers. The car was seen at VOB, where they had to replace the front rotors to pass the state safety inspection, but got a CCA discount. Bad news? They were a little too rigorous in wiping birdshit off the car and scraped the paint. Yes, there are birds in DC. A rear rattle turned out to be busted shock mounts; replaced under warranty.
