These low profile tires underinflated will bend rims on potholes! It may ride a little hard but it will even corner better. For autocrossing on Pilot Sports, I'd raise the fronts to 38 PSI and lower the rears to 32 PSI. YMMV. In my experience, I found running 38psi all around to be optimal. People might think that's a bit too high, but I've found that anything less than that in the fronts leads to cupping (you get ski ramps on the shoulder of the tire.....just run your hand back and forth over the shoulder and if you have cupping, you'll feel the difference). Some have claimed that the Pilot Sports do not have as stiff a sidewall as the MXX3s. That's why I don't think 38psi is high at all. BTW, I measure the pressures when cold and this was only suggested for street driving. Last time I autox'ed, I ran 42psi all around. For the first time out, I finished fourth in class out of 11 or so people in the same class...not bad, eh? =) HTH, Chester --- Chris Cestaro <ccestaro@north-highland.com> wrote: > What is the consensus as to the best tire pressures to run in Pilot Sports > around town? #4. Changing fuel filter - from Chester Wong

Date: Fri, 18 Aug 2000 21:21:11 -0700 (PDT) From: Chester Wong <chester_p_wong@yahoo.com> Subject: Changing fuel filter Can anyone outline the procedure (or point me to a page) for changing the fuel filter. I was under the car this afternoon and noticed that there are two fasteners holding the cover over the fuel filter, but there are also two other screws that appear to come from the cabin shooting out. Also, what's the safest procedure to disconnect the fuel filter without getting gas everywhere? I recall something about disconnecting the fuse for the fuel pump. Turn the engine over to get rid of the pressure and then proceed with the filter swap. Please advise. TIA, Chester ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I imagine that the airbag sensor reset is not an issue with the 95's but the crank position sensor seems like it might apply. Does anyone know the years and models affected (there's also a 95 325is in the family)? If there is no response to this question, I'll swing by my local dealer on Mon and get the answer. Of course, I'll post it as well. It not that bad, but there will be some gas spraying around. Wrap some rags around the hose ends as you pull them off.
