Paul, My dealer also uses BG44 in Inspec II cars. I don't know if it really works because I don't usually know how a customers car should feel like during the test drive. I think I should pour a can into my tank. I know that BG stuff is little more expensive than what you see on the additives on at PepBoys or AutoZone. I recommend pouring it before filling it up with gas. If you had like 1/4 fuel and pour in BG44, the vehicle might run crappy. I think you can go to the parts dept. and buy a can! Jonathan Caldito

I didn't know if they were synthetic or not but one of my co-workers called BMW TechHotline and they told him the 95 M3 he was working on had regular ATF. My '98 had "lifetime MTL" I've added Motul Gear Oil inside my S5D310Z. There have been some complaints on hard shifting with the MTL and BMW now tells the techs to add ATF. Jonathan Caldito

Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2000 10:02:27 -0400 From: Carey Probst <hcprobst@alum.mit.edu> Subject: Fog light removal I found the fastest way to remove the foglight in an M3 is to hit a small furry unidentifiable creature at about 75 mph on a dark rainy road. Unfortunately that also removes the mounting bracket as well. :-( -- Carey Probst E-Mail: Carey.Probst@oracle.com Perm: hcprobst@alum.mit.edu A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

They're going to make a final decision soon (less than 2 weeks) so now would be a very good time to write a letter to them. Send it to the Solo Events Board c/o Howard Duncan at the National Office and it'll get distributed. --Bob
