#1. Oil on spark plug when changing them - from Brent91NSX@aol.com

Date: Mon, 9 Oct 2000 14:43:05 EDT From: Brent91NSX@aol.com Subject: Oil on spark plug when changing them I go to change the spark plugs and on the 4th one (4th away from the front of the car) there is oil on the spark plug when I take it out. Both on the outside and the side that is screwed in. This I know sounds very bad and I don't know what to do. I mean, the car runs great just I am very very concerned. Should I just put the new spark plug in? What should I do and what does this mean? Thanks, Brent Parks 95 M3 "scared of the stealer"

Date: Mon, 09 Oct 2000 15:07:41 PDT From: "twisty M3" <twistym3@hotmail.com> Subject: [E36M3]WTB: S02 PP Rain is on the way and I'm at the wear bars on my MXX3s (not good!). Of course, with the holidays coming, I'd like to have a bit of spare change to buy some Christmas gifts for the family. I'd like to try the S02 PPs as my next tires but don't really want to spend $900 on rubber right now, and I don't really want to settle for lesser rain tires. Does anyone have a spare set of S02s laying around that they want to sell (2-225/45/17 and 2-245/40/17)? Full tread is obviously more desireable, but I'll listen to interesting offers. (i'm oversimplifying here, i KNOW they're only adjusting rebound) for reference i set my konis to 25% stiff, so bilstiens would be too stiff for me. where do you set your knois? if it's anywhere near the "soft" side of the settings bilstiens will be "too stiff" for you. >Date: Sun, 8 Oct 2000 00:32:05 -0400 >From: "Marc Plante" <marc@bellatlantic.net> >Subject: Bilstein vs. Koni: Ride Quality > > > > I currently drive an E36 325 with H&R OEM sport springs and Koni > > single adjustable shocks. Date: Mon, 9 Oct 2000 18:29:30 EDT From: Gcfuller@aol.com Subject: Kumho Ecsta 712's Gruppe- 1. I just got a pair of the new Kumho 712's in the 245 size. Has anyone noticed that they aren't as wide as other 245's? They are definately narrower than the Pilot sports, and look more like the 225's. 2. Has anyone tried the 255's? Did they fit without fender rolling? I've heard the Kumho Victoracer's are wider than normal, and you must run 225's in this tire. Why would these run smaller? Thanks in advance- Greg Fuller St. Louis - 98M3/4

I have bent 4 wheels on my '95 in 10k miles, and I don't use it to commute to work, or in rough conditions. On at least 2 out of the 4 bends I have not idea what caused it. I do however know I hit something at 75mph on the way back from Ofest that bent the last one. It was at night so I have no idea what I hit.
