People in the past were told that the Bilstein/H&R setup is way too stiff for use with the "soft" (i.e., hers) bushings. BMP was notified and either did not tell you the recommended bushings or you never disclosed that you had an aftermarket setup. Because you also have the track bushings I suggest that you use those since they should have been used in the first place. Cheers, Jim E. #3. Style 24M Forged Polished Double Spoke FS - from Daniel

Date: Sun, 19 Nov 2000 20:06:30 -0800 (PST) From: Daniel <m3_driver@yahoo.com> Subject: Style 24M Forged Polished Double Spoke FS I have 4 pieces of the forged double spoke polished wheels in 17x8.5 with michelin pilot sports 245/40/17 Wheels are in mint condition except for two of them that have one curb rash each (one wheel has a small hit and the other has a slightly larger hit, but they are both not visible from a two feet distance). All wheels are round and true. Tires are all in excellent condition with about 90% thread remaining and has perfectly even wear. Since the tires are mounted on the wheeels, I am looking to sell as a package, hopefully to a local Houston Texas buyer (so no shipping is involved). Asking price is $2,000.00 for the whole set Thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Calendar - Get organized for the holidays! http://calendar.yahoo.com/

I have tried ordering these through my dealer, but apparently they are on back order and my dealer does not expect them to come any time soon. They gladly offered to sell me a brand new alarm though. By the way, if I can't find these, are the factory compatible stellar alarm units any good? Which one do you recommend? Bora

#6. Upper vent problem - from Ted Telesky

Date: Mon, 20 Nov 2000 01:22:57 -0500 From: Ted Telesky <TTelesky@compuserve.com> Subject: Upper vent problem My 95M3 used to blow both hot and cold air from the upper vents depending on the position of the large horizontal temperature setting knob below it. (Of course the overall temp knob must be above the blue area to get heat.) But now, there is no air flow in the heat position (red) - as if something is blocking the vent in heat only. Anyone know where to look or what area to pull apart? Is the control section close to the upper center vent or buried inside? Thanks Ted

Also, I believe Jeff Lin, who's on this list > (jeffreylin@worldnet.att.net), had a LWT rear wing with the brake > light in it, but he may have sold it by now. andrew is correct...the euro-only M3 GT did not have the third brake light in the GT lower wing OR in the window. for US federalization, a 3rd brake light does have to be present on the car, and the one in the window is not the greatest spot for it (from my experience with the Bambislayer) since without the spacers, the GT wing upper portion sits perfectly in line with the rear window light, blocking it. it would require such nonsense parts such as a new rear particle shelf, just to house the new 3rd light. purchasing a new lower wing from PTG is a consideration, however, knowing the prices that PTG charges, i'd rather not considering it's poor retrofit look. my plans are to incorporate the 3rd brake lighting from the new E46 cars, located at the top of the rear window. this way, the light is not obstructed with the GT wing. hope this helps. ben liaw http://www.uucmotorwerks.com
