Holland is a great guy. He occasionally buys cars and puts them on his lot specifically with club racers in mind. Like the '92 325is I bought from him with a salvage title that I now run in BMW KP and SCCA ITS. If you are looking any car, give him a call, he can help you find a nice one. -Bryan Watts

These wheels are designed for the race track, thus the reason that they don't come with center emblems. You're not allowed to run them on the track, and you don't need them. They are sweet looking wheels, but developed for track use none the less. Haven't you noticed anyway, the newest boy racer fad to to expose the hubs so their car looks "like a racecar." -Bryan Watts '92 325is KP/ITS...who needs aBMW roundel to cover those beautiful hubs?!?

At the rear wheels?! What? really? Wow, I gotta overrev my motor! ;) Has anyone used supersprint headers on an OBD-II car? They have better headers from the factory than the 95s... any improvement? What about cams? darn it, I'm just going to have to get a supercharger. :P~ -kit, measly 223 at the rear wheels

#5. SSR Competition - hubcentric rings - from RFKoby@aol.com
Top
Date: Thu, 07 Dec 2000 14:22:22 EST From: RFKoby@aol.com Subject: SSR Competition - hubcentric rings I am familiar with the hub centric rings / spaces that are common to several brands & styles of wheels. Many of the wheels that the TireRack sells has these hubcentric rings / spacer. The reason why they bring wheels in like this is to make them fit a VARIETY of cars. This way, the same wheel can be sold for a vast array of fitments. (This reduces the number of part numbers in the system for you material managers out there....) To reduce the hassle with these hubcentric rings / spacers, get all the surfaces clean with brake cleen, and apply a very small drop of instant glue to bond the ring to the wheel. Also, apply anti-seize to the hub so the wheels don't stick when you take them off.... bob

#6. Bad miss/stumble at idle?? - 2nd post - from Rob

Date: Thu, 7 Dec 2000 12:24:39 -0700 From: "Rob" <motor@cadvision.com> Subject: Bad miss/stumble at idle?? - 2nd post My '95 M3 w/36k miles has a bad miss/stumble at idle. The car will idle perfectly and then all of a sudden give a quick miss at varying intervals, if you are sensitive, as I am, you actually feel the entire car shudder momentarily. It could be every 2 seconds and then not for 10 seconds, very strange. The engine is 100% stock and I just replaced the air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, oil change and ran a bottle of injector cleaner through it. This is NOT the hunting idle associated with a bad idle stabilizer, nor a lumpy idle that you'd get with a big cam. Any ideas? Rob

I was looking at the factory model but was thinking there may be a good Pioneer or Alpine out there that is plug and play for less money. Plus I've seen all these ads for adapters, are they needed? Do you mean that you get in the car and even the LEDs on the climate control don't come on, but they automatically come on after a few minutes? If that's the case... I have no clue. ;) If you mean that it's preset for a certain temp., you start the car and no fans start blowing, but after a few minutes they kick in, then I believe that the climate control is just waiting for there to be enough warm air to actually heat the cabin with. That's how mine works. Jonathan L. >From: peter@guagenti.com > > >Okay, here's a new one: > >When I get into my car in the morning (stone cold), the electronic climate >control won't turn on.
