The bolt pattern is the same, but the E39's need a 15mm or so offset, *much* different than the E36. The handle did not break but I think the linkage broke because the handles on both sides of the seat move freely and now do nothing. So my questions are: has anyone had and fixed this problem? I assume you have to take apart the seat back but how do you go about doing that? I've looked at the service manual but it's not very clear how the seat comes apart. Any advice would be appreciated. I believe the sign will say' "stewarts point 48 miles" the road is like a race track for 12 miles. it turns to a rough narrow road after the big bridge. Drive safely. Be nice to motorcycles.
