#4. 17x8.5" wheels option? - from Rob
Top
Date: Thu, 4 Jan 2001 19:02:03 -0700 From: "Rob" <motor@cadvision.com> Subject: 17x8.5" wheels option? M3'ers, time for a new set of wheels and I'm having a hard time finding what I want. I'm looking for a light weight (under 20lbs) 17x8.5" wheel that has the correct (37-42mm) offset and does't cost as much as a new heart! So far I can only come up with Fikse (a bit pricy), Kinesis ($ame), IFG (a bit boring), and Forgeline (a bit too Camaro). What am I missing? I'd love a set of Factory Forged 5 spokes but it's impossible to find four 8.5"ers all around. Thanks for your help. Rob

Tirerack has BBS RK's (17.2lbs) for $288, and I think they come in the right offset. There is a great Tirerack ad in Grassroots Motorsports (Feb) for competition tires and Lightweight wheels the wheel weights.
