I believe he has them for $60/each. Cheers, Jim Bassett 1998 M3/4 - purchased rotors from both of the above

This sounds like Yogi Berra. LOL and kidding of course. I assume the second mention of rotors should have been pads instead. Regards, Rich

Date: Mon, 5 Feb 2001 13:41:10 -0800 From: "andy radin" <fourfa@mindspring.com> Subject: RE: Manual steering (was Driving Schools; CCA vs PCA vs NASA ) "My race car (325is) has its power steering disconnected all the time. After my arms bulked up, I can't go back! The road feel is unsurpassed compared to a stock M3 or 3series! To those who have never tried it, you won't believe how well you can "sense" traction. As slip angles increase (decreasing grip), the wheel starts to get much lighter." So? Has anyone thought about a pulley to underdrive the power steering pump (without opening the harmonic damper can o' worms)? Change out the bypass valve to lower the pump pressure? There's probably a happy medium that's still usable day-to-day.

Ahhh, but you forget that eliminating certain equipment might also save weight on a race car... For an endurance race, you WOULD definitely want the power steering! Dan
