Those figures are only possible with some > forced induction. Yes, I meant 280 and 265 bhp. . . or maybe it was wishful thinking. The sum of the responses agreed that the wimpy intake was a contributor to the limited horsepower gains from the 3.2. I'll contact this company in Canada who've purportedly grafted the 3.0 intake onto the 3.2 w/o switching injection systems. However, several people responded (not necessarily to the list) that the OBD-II system is "adaptive" and that this limits the power. I am familiar with the control strategy of several fuel injection systems, including the later Motronic systems (the OBD-I systems), which are also adaptive. Simply because a fuel injection system is adaptive doesn't mean it will not accept modifications to produce more power. Has anyone disassembled the Siemens control program or can summarize the difference in its strategy vs the Motronic? Thanks Josh __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? He mentioned he would contact customers with delivery dates once production ramped up again. That communication never happened and Brian has subsequently moved to greener pastures. Now, this IS off topic, & I do apologize for it, but I don't really have anyone else to ask so please bear with me. So, does anyone know of a way to get out of this? Please help... Thanks much. It's medium dark. Also, it (the Suburban) came from the factory with VERY dark windows in the back, and it is black, so it gives an impression of a very dark shade of tint overall... I probably *should* use a lighter shade of tint, but what can I do about this ticket this time?
