At idle, 28psi, 210F. This is with a normally aspirated but tweaked 3.0L M3. Sorry, no voltage readings, but 13.8V is what most alternators put out.

They have initial bite very much like the stock pads, are almost dust-free, and haven't squeeled yet (my stock pads did all the time under light braking). They are reported to be easier on rotors than Metal Masters and should hold up fine for the occasional autocross. Overall, I'm real pleased with them. As soon as they make them for the 2001 330i, my wife's new car is getting them as well (I HATE stock pad dust!). I can take my laptop & will work in my neighbors house, in the back yard etc.. BUT if you play with big files you may be disappointed.. copying MP3 files to the car should be fine, but for instance I have a 4.6 mb Excel file on the server pc that I activate on the laptop often.. it takes 30+ seconds to open & close.. but once it is open it is fine.. & for what ever reason if you try to move individual files that are more than about 5 megs each it confuses the shi* out of it & rather than it taking 3 seconds (5megs/1.6mbps) it takes more like 5 minutes to copy.. You have to buy cards for each pc & I believe they run $125-$150 each.. A great buy for my use... Good Luck

I'm also a IT Director up here, and worked recently for a company providing internet access for mobile devices, so I'm familiar with what you have in mind. My first question to you, having noted the tenor of your political ideaology, is "are you sure you want your data broadcast like a private radio station ?". Wireless LAN's are still a maturing technology, and while I've used them for remote internet connectivity (Palm V with Omnisky, or Palm VII, or AirCard in my laptop), I wasn't to keen on allowing corporate LAN access without some form of VPN protection. As you are no doubt aware, the wireless 802.11b networking technology is a low powered radio carrying Ethernet. Now most home users couldn't care less about the propagation of said radio signals, but I need to raise the point with you, as wireless LAN with VPN security is cutting edge stuff. As such there isn't a predominant standard or key player to point to yet. That said, Linksys makes the least expensive base station and PC Card combo. I haven't tried it, but I might use this on my home LAN something, so I can use my laptop in bed (I live in apartment, so punching holes thru the wall for Cat 5 isn't going to happen). Next up on my list would be Cisco, but it really get tricky when you start wanting PDA connectivity (which OS , memory requirements, what software do you want to run on the PDA etc.). As the HP runs WinCE, you maybe able to glean an idea or two from this UCLA page (http://compubiosys.medsch.ucla.edu/PDA/Wireless1.html) If you would like a detailed dicussion on your needs, and options, I'd be happy to help if I can. Then when it had a Euro oil cooler installed the temps went down to around 210-220 at the track. Also the oil pressure is exactly what Scott is seeing on both the E30 and my LTW with a 3.0L Euro motor. I will let you guys know what the Euro does when I get a temp guage hooked up. On another note. I saw the infrared pictures that Jonathan Evans posted and was wondering if they might look different with a Euro motor than the US motor.
