I sprayed and hosed everything off, paying attention to avoid the intake area even though it was covered, and had no problems at all. I was actually quite impressed with how simple the process was and how clean the engine bay looked afterwards. I didn't bother using anything afterwards to shine it up in there, so maybe someone else has suggestions for that. Hope that helps. Everytime I hit "send" the browser was telling me that it wasn't connecting. Just be happy that only four of them actually went out. ;) Sorry again, and no... I didn't mean that you need to repeat the process 4X. #8. Engine cleaning - from Dorffer, Rich

What parts will I have to re-lube? Besides the intake, do I have to cover anything else? TIA I have used 3M's engine degreaser with good results (on really dirty engine bays...not a garage queen or a collectible). It does work on cosmoline somewhat and can be quite noxious but it does a pretty good job. I believe some people use Castrol Super Clean although I am not sure what results they truly had. Please copy me on any results since it is spring in Ohio as well ;-) Best regards, Rich

I know that they have corner scales. I believe they outsource the alignments, though. Leo is a master at suspension setups, especially on the E36. He's having an open house on Saturday, starting at 10am, I think.
