I bought two 245 Kumho's and mounted them, but they looked much narrower then the almost-gone Michelins I still had. So, a month or so later I bought 2-255 Kumho and put them on the back. They seem to fit fine. I "might" have heard a SLIGHT rub under some hard cornering, but was unable to confirm this. Also, I haven't tried this with the car full of people, so I can't be completely sure, but you should be ok. I haven't tried the 255's up front, although, but could try it if you all asked me nice enough. Hope that helps- Greg Fuller 98M3/4 St. Louis

If you want to damp down the intake resonances a bit, there are ways. I lined the entire inside surface of the Conforti airbox with Dynamat. This turned out to be quite a long and tricky cut and fit operation. Of course afterwards I learned that Dynamat is also available in a spray-on form, doh! This mod was done before initial installation, so I can't compare before/after. As it is now, there's no discernable extra noise below 4K rpm. above that point, but only at wide open throttle, there's that characteristic "crazed metallic bees on speed" sound. So it's quiet enough not to be annoying in everyday use, and loud enough to let you know it's there when used in anger - perfect. Neil 96 M3
