Chris, I had ordered a set of Hawk Blues a week or so ago and at that time www.europeanracing.com had the best prices. www.bimmerworld.com is the other usual suspect. Someone recommended Porterfield, but they only list PF R4/R4S pads of E36 M3s. alex f

I want to pick up a third-party changer for my '96 rather than pay the dealer a million bucks for a changer with bmw stamped on it. anyone have any advice? how do i tell if i have an i-bus or an ai-bus and/or the "premium sound system" that most 3rd-party changers apparently don't work with (i have the lux model with hk sound -- don't know a thing about the head unit, though). anyone using an adapter from http://www.soundgate.com/? i'm not averse to buying a bmw factory changer if anyone knows where to get a reasonable deal on one... thanks!
