Date: Fri, 20 Apr 2001 06:40:45 -0700 (PDT) From: Ed Tang <etangf1@yahoo.com> Subject: For those going to the Nurburgring (OT) Hi all, For those planning on a trip to Germany, you might want to check this out: The BMW-Ringtaxis of the Nürburgring offer a breathtaking experience for everyone that would like to experience the Northern Loop from the perspective of a racing driver. "One is pressed against the seat and then it starts, but despite the speed, one feels absolutely safe." In a 400 horse power specially prepared BMW car guests are chauffeured by twice winner of the 24 hour Nürburgring race, Sabine Reck and her colleague Michael Martini. "A drive in a BMW-Ringtaxi is indescribable. One has to experience it for one self. Incredible!" That's what passengers who have taken the fasted taxi in the world have to say about the experience. A circuit on the Northern Loop costs DM 150 for up to 3 people, for reservations and information +49 (0) 26 91 / 302 - 178. Gift vouchers can be purchased at the Central Tourist Information at Nürburgring. (Telephone +49 (0) 26 91 / 302 - 620). #3. No Subject - from Gcfuller@aol.com

Date: Fri, 20 Apr 2001 11:31:11 EDT From: Gcfuller@aol.com Subject: No Subject Steve- Are you SURE you warped the rotors? I have the EBC's as well and get warped-type symptoms. I had the run-out checked, and it was fine. I think the vibration is due to the pads leaving uneven residue on the rotors. My "warpage" is intermittant and seems to clear up after a hard stop or two. But then it comes back. Its annoying, because otherwise the pads work fine and Iove the no dust aspect. I suspect I'll eventually switch to metal masters or something else that doesn't dust and matches my non-track-but-spirited driving style. This brings up a good question: Are the metal masters the only way to go, or are those Autozone PF pads also dustless (and guaranteed!)?
