#1. Latest Toy install - from Robert Manger

Date: Thu, 3 May 2001 13:20:16 -0400 From: "Robert Manger" <Robert_Manger@Mastercard.com> Subject: Latest Toy install To the listers with 95 M3's I know it has been stated numerous times, but I feel so strongly on the subject that I was compelled to write. I recently purchased the JC Euro intake from Turner Motorsports. Install was cake, except for a minor delay. First and foremost, the sound is worth the money alone, it is so intoxicating to hear the growl at 4k that I find myself stomping on the pedal just to hear the sound. The "nervous idle" is gone thanks to the new chip and the power increase is very linear. The second part, is concerning the minor delay, suffice to say that you earn your customers when the shit hits the fan so to speak and your response to it. Turner was an absolute pleasure to deal with in my delay and Will himself was expediting the process to make this customer happy. They have me for life, due to this one event. Just thought I would share my experience Rob-finally sharked. Hey where can you get those cool shark stickers? I would have thought they would have come with the intake.

#2. Anyone ever heard of Unichip? - from Vern Anderson

Date: Thu, 03 May 2001 13:40:31 -0400 From: Vern Anderson <vanderson@cerebellumsoft.com> Subject: Anyone ever heard of Unichip? Has anyone ever heard or have BMW experience with a company called Unichip? My mechanic asked me about them, they apparently sell chips, ECU and ECU upgrades for many cars including BMW's. They have been asking him about selling their products and he was trying to find out about them in the BMW world. He said he has heard of them for Porsche and Audi, but they also market BMW programs. My car is already sharked, so I was just trying to help him gather some data. Vern Anderson 98 M3/2

Which is BMW speak for "They all do that, sir." As I recall they pull the inner door panel and lube everything in sight. Mine are getting a bit stiff again. Neil 96 M3

Pierre Collet(sp?) is running this on his 3.2L Euro motor in his clubracer. He swears by it saying it gave his car a lot of power. He never gave me any numbers on it as I guess he doesn't want people to know how much power his car has. But he said it made a huge difference.
