You can use vise grips, adjustable wrench, or whatever proper size it is (not sure)...just wanted to make sure you don't clamp down on the smooth shaft. #4. Jonathan hates traction control... - from David Hogg

Date: Sat, 19 May 2001 07:00:20 -0700 From: "David Hogg" <springwood@blazenet.net> Subject: Jonathan hates traction control... Musing about the E46, Jonathan writes: >On the beginning of my ten mile tour I immediately turned off the traction control. I can't imagine how you 96+ guys and gals stand that.< It's easy. Turn key, hit switch. Just another part of the normal startup procedure. With a small piece of strategically-placed static window tint dimming the ASC light, it's as if it wasn't there. Until you get in over your head in deep snow. Or when your wife has to drive the car. Then you're glad BMW provided the button to give you the choice. Dave Hogg Ps. If you like the window tint idea, let me know and I'll send you some. The sheets at Pep Boys are way large for gage applications. Works great on the high beam and fog light indicators also.
