I saw at least one post where the poster didn't think the colors matched too well, any other opinion? If it matters, I'll be ordering them in black. Jeremy Lucas 95 M3

Anyone else heard of it or tried it<< Rich, I've used it...Nothing special....Its just a chemical which, when applied to nearly dried paint, will remove it...Its called a paint remover! Nothing special about that. It can be useful for a certain type of chip...Its no good for shallow scratches, or clearcoat damage...Its most effective if you have a nice, round, deep hole down to the primer or metal, even. The key is its got to be deep enough so that when you wipe the product over the surface, it wont remove the chemical from within the depression. Unfortunately, (or fortunately) most damage is not of that type...But if it is, you'll like it. --------------------------------------------------------- Paul Elliott '99 White M3; < 30K miles; Dinan stage II sc kit; Rotex pads; Steiger SS and Clutch Stop; Sound by Polk, Excelon, JLAudio

Settings depend much on how you want the car to feel. If it is for street use, start with 1.0 turns up from soft in rear, and 0.5 to 1.0 turns up from soft in front. The rear must be adjusted with the shock off the car, the front is easy to adjust on the car. I would recommend the Koni's over Boge. My car has the Dinan suspension and my springs are set to 1.125 turns from full soft on all four corners. This works out great both on the street and on the autocross. On the track, I will most likely set to fronts to 1.25 turns from full soft. And I'm not just saying that because I did all the leg work to ensure Supreme got them as close to perfect as possible ;) Seriously, I have the black covers with the M stripes, and they look great. My recommendation is to get the stripes. If I remember correctly, in his early days John Andretti spent a season or two as a co-driver with Ray Korman and Davey Jones (not the Monkey) in one of Korman's Firehawk Series 325s (or it could have been M3s). Perhaps this is why he was more friendly to the BMW Motorsport hat wearing types - he can actually appreciate a car that was designed with the twistys in mind. On the second GP, I think that Supreme got a little sloppy (or ran out of the proper color thread-mine are RED instead of the M orange-red). In any event, I would still prefer the covers with the M stripes even if the colors are a bit off. I've had more than one person ask if they were factory covers because of the stripes.
