Date: Sat, 21 Jul 2001 19:44:50 EDT From: Rustysells@aol.com Subject: Xenon headlights and foglights If I retrofit my 1997 M3 Sedan with Xenon headlights, my thinking is that the color of the foglight lights won't match. Can the bulbs be replaced in the foglights to match the new Xenon headlights or do the foglights have to be changed also? Thanks, Rusty

Since you'll only use the foglights when it is foggy, which is probably hardly ever, who cares if the color of the light doesn't match? :) - Rich

Adjust them a little outside and keep track of the critters on the side of the road. A territorial dispute with a deer just ruins your day (or night). Given that, I want to see, not worry about color matching, so I don't care if they match or not. Having been broadsided by a deer (yep, he hit me on the left rear cornerpanel), I like to keep an eye on the critters. #10. How do I get glass epoxy off paint? - from Preston Carey
Top
Date: Sun, 22 Jul 2001 12:42:25 -0400 From: "Preston Carey" <pcarey@babson.edu> Subject: How do I get glass epoxy off paint? Hi folks, I just had my front windshield replaced and the talented folks who did it left a couple of relatively large fingerprints of the caulk/epoxy used to seal the new windshield on my hood. I have talked to the shop who did it and they are willing to do something about it after they see the car. Can a detailer get something like this out or is this it a wet sand/body shop type thing? The epoxy laughed at my attempts to use 3M Hand Glaze and some other normal cutting type detailing products to get it out. The stuff is rock hard at this point and doesn't seem to be affected by chemical based (P21S, etc) detailing products either. Any help or suggestions of who can take care of this in the Boston area would be appreciated. Regards, Preston 98 M3/4 Cosmos w/ flat black epoxy highlights...
