Plus they are very good in the rain, so I'm always going to have a set for lapping days and rain. However, I'm heading into BMWCCA Club Racing and I knew the Yoko's would never cut it there, so it's time for me to get used to the Hoosiers. I'd love to try slicks, maybe next summer. I've heard that they are another level compared to the Hoosiers. Then try the yoks. You will probably want to find the closest trash can for them after that. Then when the Hoosiers get boring, step up to a Pirelli slick, another night and day difference and actually cheaper, lol. Mike

Someone tell me more. Would these make good autox tires? If so, where can you find them, TireRack? Discount? Currently using Kumho Victoracers and like them since I don't run with a lot of negative camber (only -1.1 degrees). I believe Jim did one of the original JTD oil distribution block installations and EMW sells the JTD block, also. Bob Dorchester 95 M3

Anthony, I think that it will work if your E46 does not have navigation. The late E36 and non-navigation E46 both had the Alpine AI-Net changers. If you have navigation then I can't help you. For everyone else, you can also get adapters that allow you to use other aftermarket changers with your factory AI-Net (or pre-96 Alpine M-Bus) head unit. -Matt --- Anthony Pun <turbom3@home.com> wrote: > Date: Fri, 19 Oct 2001 17:36:47 -0400 > From: "Anthony Pun" <turbom3@home.com> > Subject: [E36M3] will 1996 CD Changer work in new > M3? > > > Hey Everyone, > > Just received my new 2002 M3, and was wondering if > my old Changer from a > 1996 M3 would work. I have a Simpson five-point camlock restraint that I would like to use in my car when running autox. Is there anyway I can use this with a harness bar alone and still be able to remove it simply when driving on the street? Can anyone recommend a simple well designed harness bar? Thanks!
