If you're interested in purchasing the Motorsport strut bar, send me a private email and let me know. If there's enough interest, I'll work out the group purchase details with Matt. If there isn't enough interest, I'll respond to the individuals who send email to me. It appears that the euro springs are considerably softer than say H&R OE sports." On my car (98 coupe, sunroof, PS) the 31-33-2-228-171s raised the front about 1 cm. They are noticeably stiffer though. Try the part number from the 95 LTW instead, the US engine must simply be enough lighter to negate the Euro coupe's lower ride height. dunno. andy r.

#4. Replacing Trunk Badge - from Joseph Bachman III

I just recieved a new one in my Christmas stocking (I don't want to know how much the elf paid the dealer for that one) and was planning on sticking it on tonight. Any recomendations? I figured that a flat bladed screwdriver and a towel for paint protection would be the recipe. Do I have to worry about the tape on the old badge pulling off paint? How well are those puppies stuck on there? Should I be heating it with a hairdryer or some other aid? Thanks again gang. Hope everyone had a happy new year. I considered selling them on Ebay, but I didn't want to do that until I knew what I could post they would work in. Could anyone share what models the 95 M3 springs would work with? Thanks! - Chris

Date: Wed, 2 Jan 2002 13:27:26 -0800 (PST) From: Vince Leo <m332is@yahoo.com> Subject: Sparco seat Tony asked about Sparco seat and bracket. I know this is not what you asked for... but here is something a bit different... Corbeau makes a race seat/shell called the "Forza" and they sell brackets/sliders for many cars including BMW. I ordered them from Apex Performance (you can find them through Google.com by searching for "Apex Performance Corbeau" in the search area). His price is something like $193 per seat which is discounted from the list of $220. Brackets are around $65-$75 (I think). The Forza is FIA rated. I found them through a friend who has the Corbeau Targa RS seat in his e-30 M3. The targa RS looks like a Recaro SRD type seat. Vince 89 M3 his 99 M3 hers 91 318is #255 LP/ITS MINE!! Thanks! None. In order to use the springs in a non-M, you need the smaller front strut. I did the full M-suspension swap on my wife's 328i, and had to buy a set of blown front shocks so I could install Koni's. Frankly, there isn't a huge improvement over the factory sport suspension and the M suspension for street driving. I did it more because I was pulling off the Eibach suspension that was on the car (from when it was mine) and had most of the key parts laying around. -p

Anyone know of a track event going on in February in Southern California? I know that NASA is running an event at Cal. Speedway but they want almost $400 for the weekend which is ridiculously expensive (especially when you run the numbers and it pencils out to over $15,000 in profit). Anyone?
