Was it http://www.koni-na.com/cgi-bin/search.pl/konicars (BMW) Front: 8641-1342 Sport Rear: 8240-1115 Sport These are the Sport(Yellow) line which I thought was more for the track. I could not find any of the Special(Red) line which is more for the street. (I would like to stick w/ OEM springs.) One last question; are these adjustable while on the car or does one have to take them off? Ok, one more; where do I get them for cheap? Thanks!! Any hints you can provide me with? Also how much rear movement on the front seats did you lose? Thanks for any info! #4. Chips... - from Juan Rico

Date: Mon, 7 Jan 2002 11:59:25 -0800 From: Juan Rico <juan_rico@captionsinc.com> Subject: Chips... Hi gang, =20 It seems that I can't swap chips without losing my EWS (is that what it is?) or antitheft protection programming... Those of you who swap back and forth, how do you manage this? Do you program your chip every time you do the swap? =20 FWIW, my car has gained a whole bunch of torque (especially in 2nd = gear) with the stock chip. My car is definitely faster. It's also *totally* pingless even with 91 crap gas here in CA.=20 Needles to say I am now a true believer in the effect software can have on performance, except I am back where I started. Why I ever ran the Dinan chip for = 100K miles is a mystery to me at this point. Live and learn-- I just hope I haven't melted the engine... No wonder my car felt like a Beetle. Aghh! At this point I'm tempted to leave the stock chip in for good, but I = see an intake looming in the near future, etc. =20 =A1Viva el stock chip! =20 Juan. =20 95 M3 (who the hell needs cams now...?)

I don't recall ever seeing the reds for E36M3 applications. For the single adjustables, the fronts can be (very) easily adjusted on the car. The rears, however, require removal. ProParts can have the rears made to be externally adjustible while ON the car, for a price. I got mine from ProParts/TC Kline and was happy with both the pricing and the service. I do wish that I would've ponied up the extra dough to have my rears made to be more easily adjustible though. I'm happy with the current settings however. Though I got an e-mail saying that I was over the quota from I guess all you bums downloading my pics. =p Anyway, if I keep the current setup, the good thing about these rear shocks is the gas charge in the shock isn't a lot. So you can actually adjust the shock while on the car by unbolting the bottom, pulling all the way down to remove the bump stop and wiper and then pushing all the way up and turning. =) Chester ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? #9. FS: Colgan car bra - from Chester Wong

Date: Mon, 7 Jan 2002 14:52:29 -0800 (PST) From: Chester Wong <chester_p_wong@yahoo.com> Subject: FS: Colgan car bra For use with the M front air dam. I bought the whole thing...hood bra, bumper bra and mirror bra. I got half way through installing the bumper bra before I decided I didn't want to use it. So it's been in the box ever since. Maybe someone out there bought just the hood bra and now wants the bumper bra? This has NO cutout for the front license plate. I'm keeping the hood and mirror bra. First $35 OBO. #10. Do anti-sway bar bushings wear out? - from Peter Fanning
Top
Date: Mon, 07 Jan 2002 17:03:19 -0800 From: Peter Fanning <p.fanning@verizon.net> Subject: Do anti-sway bar bushings wear out? I recently replaced the rear trailing arm bushings with Powerflex bushings (highly recommended). The bushings we're toast, torn around the metal sleeve. Thanks to Chester for renting out the right tool for the job. Now I'm wondering if all the other suspension bushings need replacement. What experience do people have with the wear of front control arm bushings, anti-sway bar bushings and rear beam bushings? The car is tracked regularly and used as a daily driver.
