At no time did I mean to make any ethnic remarks, just jest, similar to the Bimmer hall of shame, hence the smiley face ;-) Once again, I'm sorry for any offense. #6. [E36M3] PCV replacement? - from Colin_S_Whelan@rrfc.raytheon.com

Date: Mon, 21 Jan 2002 10:33:34 -0500 From: Colin_S_Whelan@rrfc.raytheon.com Subject: [E36M3] PCV replacement? I was wondering if anyone knew where the PCV was (front of valve cover?) and how to replace it? I was wondering if this could have anything to do with the cold engine 2000 rpm hesitation problem that I've been having. I was hoping this was a 5 minute/$10 job that I could try. Thanks, Colin '98 M3/2

You also have to have them smooth the mouldings before they paint them. Door handles are the most labor intensive as you have to disassemble the door to remove the handle to paint them properly. Some would argue that painting all the mouldings take away from the car's appearance. I tend to agree as I like the black stripe running down the side of the car. I would consider the door handles, but it's too much a) work, b) money and then in order to do it right, you'd really have to get the Motorsport door handles ;) ...which adds more $$$$. He mentioned that he read something somewhere about some spacers that could be installed along w/ the trailing arm bushings to make them last longer or perform better. He could not remember any details though. Does this ring a bell w/ anyone? Thanks! Mike _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? It prevents the bushing from flexing too much. Chester --- Michael Stembera <m_stembera@yahoo.com> wrote: > My mechanic noticed that I need to replace the trailing arm bushings on > my '95.
