#1. Video camera mount - from Jeff Stowe

Date: Tue, 26 Mar 2002 16:38:57 -0800 From: Jeff Stowe <jrstowe@pacbell.net> Subject: Video camera mount There is a suction cup based unit (made by HAMA I think) that HMS sells. I bought one, but it doesn't seem to work very well if you have rear defrosters as they impact the seal of the suction cup. Others at the track have indicated that it works very well, if you don't have the rear defroster. Ayone who wants it is welcome to the one I have. Just reimburse my shipping or pick it up from me at just about any CCA-GGR or NorCal NASA event. Well, I had possibly posted an alternate route, but for bypassing the backup at 152 & 101. Go further south on 101 to 25. It meets up with 156, then merges with 152 near Casa De Fruta, letting you skip the two-lane section. >Just thinking about taking all of next friday off and trying to make the >trip south more enjoyable. Lucky you. >Alternatively, does anyone want to hook up for the drive down, perhaps >someone with a V1! If Scott Smith & I hook for the drive down, he has a V1 :-) In any event, I'll be looking to hook up with someone for the drive down as well. Probably leaving Livermore by 3PM. Jim Bassett

Even more adventures is West/East Pozo Rd (which eventually meets up with 58). Give a map a glance before you head out. These roads are all due west from Buttonwillow and drop you basically at the track's door. You really ought to drive them at least once (preferably BEFORE an event and during the light hours). While you're in that neck of the woods don't forget to grab some grub at the Pozo Saloon. Follow that up with dinner at "Tita's Pupuseria" (380 E. Front Street, Buttonwillow) and you've got a rocking good food time. Home cooked Salvadorian food! Good stuff. tom eby 96 m3 74 02 -- <snip> >anyone have any suggestions? You're not thinking big enough - we'd need someone with an air-conditioned motorhome. Jim Bassett - definitely NOT looking forward to the Club Race at THill in August 1998 M3/4 1993 325is #44 KP - I haven't removed the A/C yet; only needs a belt to be functional :-)

I ordered a Shroth Harness for my my M3 and have had problems with the fulfillment of the order and with their customer service.
