Also, you have to consider bolt length. I think the GC bolts are plenty long, so you're good there either way. The good thing about the c-clip is the fact that you could remove/replace it from the wheel well too if the need should ever arise. If you really want to use the Z3 plates, you probably can use them with the GC RSMs, but you'd have to probably tack weld longer studs as the regular RSM one is barely long enough to allow 1 - 2 threads to show (and the RSM is stamped steel). Also, something else to consider: If you're going through all the effort of using the Z3 plates and are popping the studs out of the E46 part, then you might as well use the E46 part. When it's replacement time, the RSM is about $10 each. If you get it fixed before the system goes dry you have less of a chance of burning up the seals in the compressor. Unfortunately, I have no recommendations for the Louisville area. It has 88,000 on it now. It is obviously leaking (albeit slowly) and was not very cold last summer. Can a better AC system be installed if this one cannot be fixed easily? #6. cross-drilled rotors - from Mdriver13@aol.com

Date: Thu, 11 Apr 2002 22:57:32 EDT From: Mdriver13@aol.com Subject: cross-drilled rotors Well, after seeing all those cars at the NYC auto show with cross-drilled rotors, I've got the hots for this item. Are the c/d rotors sold by Autotechnics any good? The price looks right (about $320 for set). Advice on other rotor options welcome. Just looking to stay with stock size. I know this upgrade is for looks only, she's already fast ;-)) TIA, Bob Gill 97 ///M3 coupe Philly Region SCCA AS Champion 1997 & 2000 BSP Champion 2001
