Nope. We are seeing some really interesting effects of efficiency. There is no reason that the Comptech and the GruppeM superchargers can't make more power than the centrifical, there is nothing magic. They are just that much less efficienct than the Basch boost blower. This is definitely my fear with a PD blower on the M3... less top end and more low end torque.. ok for the grandpas on the list, but for those of us who like our cars to rev to redline, this ain't so good. :) The NSX head breathes MUCH better than ours too. -kit -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ .

#2. Schroth seatbelts - from Carey Probst

Date: Thu, 2 May 2002 20:48:15 -0400 From: "Carey Probst" <hcprobst@alum.mit.edu> Subject: Schroth seatbelts I just saw a new safety requirement on the Patroon chapter schools for either factory belts or 5 or 6 point harnesses. This would imply that Schroth 4 points like my Autocontrol are not legal there. I understand that an instructor was injured when the belts stretched on first impact and he slipped out and hit windshield on second impact. Anybody know anything about this? How would a 5 or 6 point setup have helped unless they were 3 inch instead of 2 inch shoulders? Really interested in this now as I use the Schroth all the time for track and street. It is installed in the car and running(4dr obdII M3) They also have a trick intake manifold they would not discuss, but some type of 2 stage setup or something from the looks of it. Very cool and I am sure it will be a market leading product if based on their other engineering.
