Someone else makes a good point. If you want another 50 hp with a supercharger, you add a pulley and an Aquamist system for less than $1000. Another 50 hp out of a cam kit costs you... Well, $6000 for a supercharger. -kit

I explored the Aluminum and OE options. Neil Maller through his own experience gave me good advise. He suggested that the Under Panel was a functional Aero piece as well as a moisture and dirt shield for the engine. Neil thought that the Aluminum Under Panel did not fit well and was not aerodynamic. I decide to go with the OE panel. Since you have your Under Panel, washer it back on with new hardware (i.e. washers, screws and receiving clips). BTW, if your car does not have an oil cooler, you will need the baffle that goes inside the Under Panel. I replaced it with an OEM piece, and it tore out again. Well, I didn't want to buy another OEM piece, and I didn't want to spend money for the aluminum JTD panel (I'm cheap). So, I decided to go ahead and truly reinforce the panel (not just big washers). The plan was to wrap a thin sheet of aluminum on both sides of each hole in the panel. Sorry, I don't know a good way to explain it. Maybe this will help: ---------- | ------- | ------- | | | | | | | | | | | <- aluminum sheet metal | | <- plastic undertray So, in my crude picture above, I bent 4 strips of ~1.5" wide sheet of aluminum into the above shape around the panel at each slot. I then drilled a couple holes and slotted the top of the above reinforcement to line up with the slot in the panel. Next, I drilled a couple holes on the vertical plane and added rivets. This design so far has held up on my car. The aluminum distributes the stresses over a much larger area, and should keep the panel from tearing out. I probably should have taken some pictures, but my workmanship was not very good. (Actually didn't see it till too late). I found that replacing the little expansion rivits with plastic dry wall anchors worked great. It's been on solid for the 2 years including 3-4 drivers schools and a short stint this winter using the splitter as a snow plow(Northern NY). Unless you are looking up under the car you can't even see the pretty yellow, green and red anchors. It was originally going to be a temporary fix until I could get to the dealer for the proper rivits, but haven't bothered since it works so well. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Good luck! I'm currently running on 7.5" BMW Motorsport wheels, and the car can accept up to a 9" wheels (as run by previous owner). Perusing the Tire Rack web site, they seem to have some pretty good deals on wheels. I'd like to get feedback about the following wheels: BBS RK (17x8 - $288) Borbet Type T (17x8 - $159) Kosei K1 Racing (17X8.5 - $169) SSR Integral (17x8 - $279) If you've used any of these wheels, liked or disliked them, I'd appreciate any feedback. Another friend had them on a Sentra SE-R and bent two at the track. The Sentra wheels may have been attributable to going off the track, but I don't think the missus went off in the Camaro while on those wheels. I've personally never had a set of these, never been on a race track except for parade laps, and don't know the propensity for wheels to get bent, but wanted to at least let you know what I've heard, for what it's worth.
