AND, don't forget to give the parking brake shoes a light sanding/scuffing so they'll actually do something when you have the e-brake on! Heh. I just had mine, and while I passed, the values printed on the card are up slightly from where they were last year at this time....Would an increase in 3psi boost pressure have any impact on these values, or is a slight annual variation to be expected? Id love to see what max allowed values are to see how close or not I am. I reran the test today as advised having put in a tank of 94 octane and taken the car on a one hour highway run ... HC at idle dropped from 174ppm (fail) to 15ppm (easy pass) ... I guess even those high-priced BMW cats have to be really well warmed up, particularly if your smog test requires a long wait in line where I am advised by Jim C that the cat will cool down substantially at idle, and to run the car at above 2500 rpm for one out of every five minutes!! I ordered their entire E36 cooling package special except for the radiator and belts (Hi Alex!) less than 3 months ago. I sent my e-mail at 4:55 pm CT and the parts arrived the very next day. Amazing! Their parts are not true BMW OEM parts - i.e., no BMW Roundels or part numbers. However, they seem to be acceptable quality. The water pump is a metal propellor. I've read that the current BMW OEM replacement water pumps are now back to using plastic? However, note that Bimmerparts.com will ship you a 92 degree C thermostat, regardless of what their web site says. When you call to complain that you got the wrong thermostat (my 9/95 M3 had an original 88 degree C thermostat), they will tell you that the 92 degree thermostat superseded the 88 degree thermostat which is no longer available. This explanation seemed reasonable to me. And I figured if a 7 degree F hotter thermostat caused a problem, I had bigger problems to worry about. I will likely order my radiator and belts from them soon. Lowell Seaton '95 M3 Dallas, TX

They probably just want to stock one part. Andrew http://www.taylorautosport.com/ Will match any advertised price on OEM parts
