You should use t-hooks in criss-cross fashion (jump! jump!). The t-hooks attach to where the hockey pucks attach to. You insert and only when you turn it, does the t-hook stay in. A t-hook attached to the right side of the car should be tied down to the left side of the trailer<< With all this talk of T hooks and tie downs, Im wondering, is there a proper way, or a way we need to instruct Dyno operators, to secure our cars during dyno pulls? You don't usually get a 2nd chance. Jay, I agree. Lack of overkill can result in overkill. If whatever system you use fails, you may fail with it. Biggest mistake based on what I've seen, is leaving out the wheel chock step. Car can't go up. Double chocking the wheels keeps it from going back and forth. Jackstands keep it up. Ramps (hopefully) as a backup keep it up, and the chocks keep it from rolling off the ramps when doing two wheels at a time if the stands fail. Ron

It won't fix a crack but for a rock chip they work well. Just follow the directions. If you live in NY you can take advantage of the insurance glass policy and get a new windshield for free if it's in the line of sight swept by the wipers. Have done that several times on different cars as well. I suspect that something along those lines might be effective. The polyurethane bushings of my RD swaybars have fine circumferential grooves in the bore whose purpose is apparently to retain grease. They have never squeaked for me. Neil 96 M3

Recaro has no replacement product in the under $500 road seat. After an extensive search, the last I could find are available from Dave Turner Motorsports (www.daveturner.com) in San Diego. He has 2 left, after that you'll be at the mercy of ebay. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
