It would not be legal in stock or Hp. Mike ----- Original Message ----- > > > http://www.donutzracing.com/forsale/E36

Date: Thu, 05 Dec 2002 09:42:42 -0800 From: <daddy30@earthlink.net> Subject: Follow Up...To OBC Not working OK, I went out to the garage and removed the OBC, I turned the lights off in the garage and cut the car on and you were right the obc does work I just could not see it. However, I dont have one single bulb i have 4 small bulbs that click into the rear of the unit. I took all four out and inspected them and checked them for continuity and they are good. One or two look a little burnt on top but the multimeter says there good, what next? Also, the contact strip does not have any corrision on it either, so they appear to be making good contact. Any other ideas? HELP

Not sure how that stacks up against a euro motor. It's all out of my range... And speaking of budget racing series', my wife and I are running with the Nissan Se-R group at Streets of Willow tomorrow. I'm curious to see how their cars measure up to the M3, both with this novice driving and my talented wife. That could be a fun series to run as well. ____________________________________________________ -snip- stock 3.2 motor, which would have to be rebuilt or dumped in exchange for a euro motor. -and snip- makes spec miata look wonderful IMO Mike __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? My LTW makes that and it never has been opened. to be remotely close, you need about 330hp and skills or 400hp and money, lol ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason Knight" <knight2244@yahoo.com> To: "Michael" <95m3ltw@charter.net>; "E36M3" <e36m3@bmw-m.net> Sent: Thursday, December 05, 2002 2:06 PM Subject: Re: Fw: [E36M3] FS: '99 M3 as a race car or chassis/motor package > The site says that the motor is built by a Dinan > engine builder, and is at 270 hp. #8. Leithauser M3 for sale (was '99 M3 as a race car ...) - from KLchmn@aol.com

Date: Thu, 05 Dec 2002 14:52:19 -0500 From: KLchmn@aol.com Subject: Leithauser M3 for sale (was '99 M3 as a race car ...) Chris points out that Jim Leithauser's M3 is for sale. > > http://www.bimmerhaus.com/carlot/leithauser/leithauser.html I have raced head to head with this car and let me tell you, it is *fast*! Jim's no slouch, but this car is a rocket. Not only that but the level of preparation is really nice. I think it took Jim 40 hours just to put the vinyl on for the replica art car look. Let's not forget the 28 series rear Koni shocks. Those are giga buck shocks, not your common $400 Koni DA's. You get the shock mounting nuts for $400 on Koni 28's (ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration). I personally hope Jim sells this to someone who doesn't want to run BMW CCA club racing and will run SCCA T2 instead! Then I won't get beat by this car again! <vbg> Cheers, Kirk Lachman Sin City Chapter '95 M3 #21 I-stock
