If your car sees the street stay AWAY from them. Wayne donated his bushings to me. Yes they were stiff, yes there was no play, yes it felt GREAT however it sounded horrible and was really stiff. Stay with Urethane or stock with GC Spacers. Choice is yours, just my humble opinion. #3. Water Logged DME - from KResener@aol.com

Date: Sat, 14 Dec 2002 09:43:18 EST From: KResener@aol.com Subject: Water Logged DME Gruppe, Twice now I've been stopped dead after driving in the rain by water getting into the area where the DME is (right side of firewall, behind glovebox) in my '95 M3/2. Yesterday, it died after driving in the pouring rain for three hours from Nashville to Louisville just as I turned onto my street. I couldn't have been more lucky. Figuring that I've pushed my luck far enough I need to figure out how to clear the drain that is no doubt clogged or further waterproof the area. Anyone dealt with this or have any suggestions? I've heard that there's a a drain under the cowl area that can become clogged? I used my wife's hairdryer to dry the DME and plug, here's hoping it'll fire up.... Kurt

The plugs to be used in the E36 M3 are pre-gapped. Just install them. There's a spark plug reference chart on Ron Stygar's site, FYI. Cheers, Jim Bassett

#6. R&R'ing fog lite bulb - from DocWyte

Date: Sat, 14 Dec 2002 09:31:18 -0800 (PST) From: DocWyte <josh_wyte@yahoo.com> Subject: R&R'ing fog lite bulb Ok, Thanks to a call from a fellow lister, I was able to identify the fog lite bulb. It's the one on the far left of the cluster. As such, there's no reason to disconnect the wiring harnesses to the cluster. Just take out the two T20 torx screws and lever the cluster out with a screwdriver. I wrapped the tip of mine with electrical tape to avoid scratching anything. Pull the cluster as forward as possible and tilt the left side out. If you have very small hands you may be able to grab the bulb and turn it out. Otherwise grab the bulb with a set of needlenose pliers and turn it out. replace with new bulb and reassemble. What kills me is that I had that bulb out yesterday, but since I didn't know it was the fog lite bulb I put it back in! Top
Date: Sun, 15 Dec 2002 15:13:58 EST From: KLchmn@aol.com Subject: dual mass flywheel -- allowable movement How much movement (rotational) should a dual mass flywheel have? With the flywheel attached to the crank, I can turn the back side (towards the trans) a slight amount. Is this normal and acceptable? Thanks, Kirk Lachman Sin City Chapter '95 M3 #21 I-stock
