I think my box of original magazines got lost in a move years ago, but I'd pulled out a copy when we got our M3. If anyone has the Car and Driver from April '95, and the earlier one which they actually did their first feature on the '95 M3, as well as the corresponding Road and Track articles from '95, I'd definately be interested in buying them... BTW, you can access and read most of the Car and Driver M3 articles on their website. Goes back to April '95, but not far enough back for their first feature on the M3. The Road and Track website only goes back far enough to cover the E46 M3. TIA! -josh ===== Josh Wyte Momentum Motorsports 508-833-3024 After 5 pm EST

Preferably without the use of BMW special tools. I am thinking a set of picks to get it out and sockets to get it back in, anyone with hands on experience? The drive shaft is already off due to a pain in the a** guibo bolt and torn driveshaft cv boot from to much hammering... its my therapy... sometimes. Thanks, Kris 95 M3- parts removed everywhere and 2 wks to Road Atlanta

#4. FS: IFG A5 Lightweight Forged 17" x 9" Wheels - from Geof McLaughlin

Date: Tue, 25 Feb 2003 10:13:27 -0500 From: Geof McLaughlin <gfmiiilist@attbi.com> Subject: FS: IFG A5 Lightweight Forged 17" x 9" Wheels I am selling a full set (possibly two sets) of IFG A5 lightweight forged 17" x 9" wheels in good condition with 40mm offset (other set is 41.5mm). These wheels only weigh 19 lbs./each and are the affordable version of strong, lightweight forged wheels unlike Fikse, Forgeline, etc. This is the maximum 17" size that you can fit on a E36 chassis with major modifications to the bodywork. They may require rolling your rear fenders and using 10-15mm spacers in front. As stated above, these wheels are in good condition (no curb rash, dents, etc.) with few cosmetic scratches. From normal viewing distance, these wheels look really sharp. However if you are a concours king or queen and everything must be perfect, these wheels are not for you. If you are normal and live on the planet earth, these wheels are fine. ;-) Asking $1200/set plus shipping. Located in Mansfield, MA. I used a 15mm deep socket to install the new one, just give the socket a couple of love taps with a mallet. #6. Airbag warning light - from Steve Klein

Date: Tue, 25 Feb 2003 09:50:06 -0600 From: Steve Klein <klein@robinsonad.com> Subject: Airbag warning light Hello, All- A few months ago, when I swapped the leather and foam bottoms on my vaders, I didn't disconnect the battery before removing the seats, and I've got the '2 minute warning' on the dash where the airbag light goes out two minutes after starting the car. I plan to remove the seats again to address some squeaks and creaks, and I plan to disconnect the battery this time. My question is, will leaving the battery disconnected for a period of time reset whatever stored code is triggering the light? I've got the radio code, and using the gas pedal (11/95 build) I've read no error codes (1444) so I shouldn't be losing any crucial info (right?). And is the only other reset element to follow the Bentley manual for resetting the power windows? Thanks in advance, Steve

I know the issues/articles are on the web too, but sometimes I prefer to shut down the PC, head down to my dusty, quiet, basement workshop and flip through the old car mags under the glow of a flickering halogen light.
