With the additional 150# on the right side, it is going to be perfect. I can't think of any reason to put weight behind the wheels on a rear wheel drive WC car. #3. Front Control Arms - from Ahmad Lutfeali

Date: Wed, 26 Feb 2003 22:38:58 +0000 From: "Ahmad Lutfeali" <m3_racer99@hotmail.com> Subject: Front Control Arms I replaced the front control arms at 60K with the E30 alluminum and offset bushings (96+ had a centered bushing). Later I discovered that a few people (on this list) were using the standard E30 steel control arm (less half the cost). You may want to consider this option. Anyone against using E30 steel arms, please chime in. Thanks. Ahmad 98 M3/2 _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses. I am guessing one of the two is correct and my money is on the second one. :-) Later, Rich -------------------- 10 -------------------- Date: Wed, 26 Feb 2003 16:28:13 -0500 From: Neil Maller <neil.maller@gte.net> Subject: Trunk Microswitch Anyone have a p/n for this or know where it is in the ETK? Damned if I can find it there? This is the switch that activates the interior trunk light (and makes your remote locking/alarm not work properly if it's broken...). Physically it's located under the trailing edge of the trunk lid, secured by a single screw. Neil 96 M3

I would like to point you to a couple of companies that are currently hiring. I happen to know people at these companies (not enough to guarantee you a job, but I can answer those fun questions and most likely point you to the right contacts...). www.bscupdate.com -- Bechtel SAIC LLC www.bechtelnevada.com -- Bechtel Nevada LLC Both are under contract with the US Department of Energy here in Las Vegas (for different projects). Both are hiring now. Please just reply to the specific job postings as instructed on the website. If you want the inside story of what it's like to work for either of them, or the Vegas lifestyle, I can help there too. Contrary to popular belief, Sin City is a nickname, not a lifestyle (unless you want it to be, of course!). If you are an experienced structural engineer with experience with large objects (think 50 tonnes and up) and dynamic loads (seismic analyses experience a BIG plus), please let me know ASAP. Please email me directly in order to avoid list congestion.
