Wow, that I would like to see. 223 rwhp from a stock '95 M3!! That is something like 265 - 270 crank hp. They must have handpicked one too many motors off the line for the LTWs and slammed it into this stock M3 instead.

Date: Wed, 9 Apr 2003 19:14:18 EDT From: Msebmwman@aol.com Subject: Headlamp switch light is out: didn't someone here replace this? All; The red background lighting that lights the headlamp switch graphics is out. In other words, at night when the car is on or the lights are on you can't see the headlamp switch rotary dial or the graphics for the side markers, the headlamps, or the front fogs. I thought I remembered that someone on this list had a good time replacing the lamp that lights this area recently. Would you care to share your experience and the procedure and perhaps any part numbers involved? Thanks for your help, Marc 95M3 (which I'm groping in the dark in order to turn on lamps.....)..

The splitter will mount on standoffs so it will not be physically attached to the bumper cover. This is important to us because either the bumper cover or the splitter can be ripped off while leaving the other in place. I have seen a couple of these in action on other car models and they are amazingly strong - a Mazda went over the curbing and bounced along off track and the splitter clung on. You will probably need to weld two pins to the subframe to secure the rear and 3 brackets off of the front bumper, similar to the factory lightweight supports - still working on that. If anybody wants to see the dyno curve email me. If I could figure out ATTBI's webpage service I could post it, but I haven't had any luck yet. Bruce 95 M3 89 M3 2.5 > That car would be mine. I was using Mobil 1 0W-40 since 10/01 before recently switching to 15W-50. My car has 108,000k and a self-lubricating turbo. I don't track the car but redlines it quite often. With the 0W-40, it would burn about half a quart between 5k oil changes. This is much better than using 0W-30 without a turbo which burnt more than a quart between changes. We'll see what the burn rate is with 15W-50. Wen _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. Didn't Jim C look at the cats a while back & found the stock BMW cats (when in normal good condition) are not very restrictive compared to many of the high flow models you see advertised? IIRC, the gain was minimal at best and you risk worse emissions performance to boot. Also, I just left the Bay Area in September 2002, but during the previous 7.5 years I lived there I drove by 2 roadside smog checks. One in SJ by my house and another farther north (maybe Mountain view?). I just about sh*t a brick the 1st time it happened, as I was in my track car with big cats & everything all modified to hell, and the smog tester was positioned on the freeway on ramp 1 mile from my house! Car not even warm, accelerating hard to get on the freeway, not a good combination... -- Roger Baker Jake McClean <sin@mail.value.net> wrote: >Hmm. #10. Airbag light - from Paul Smith

Date: Wed, 9 Apr 2003 21:36:32 -0500 From: Paul Smith <pauls@ontario.com> Subject: Airbag light Okay, I am on the road . . . again and my airbag light on the dash comes on. Re-start goes off and then on again. Drove 4 hours (through the north east Ohio roads - great torque and fun) and no issue. I need to drive that home again. Any issues before I hit the road again? My 'tool' is at home and no readout when I hit the check on the computer. thanks Paul Smith 98 M3/4/5 with the guy blowing the bubble light on.
