There are Yokohama A003's (70-90% worn) mounted on the wheels now. I would like $600 for the set. They (wheels)are in good shape. I'll pay the shipping. Thanks, Greg in SW Michigan.

Doesn't have to be an M3, can be any E36 chassis. If anyone has a quick source, preferably in the New England area, please let me know. Thanks, Mike cell 617-797-6222

Is a thrust angle alignment adequate for an M3 or should I look for another type of alignment? #5. Steering rack questions - from Luis Rueda

How difficult is it to replace it? Is this a DIY job? Any special tools? Also on the list of items that needs to be replaced: -Steering hose (cooler hose) is seeping some fluid -RF wheel bearing & both tie rods -Brakes (rotors & pads) -Drive belts Ouch! Lots of parts but good thing is that I can replace most of them myself. TIA! Luis

I have the special tools but when I went to replace the LF wheel bearing, I left them at home so we just did it without. I'm lucky the inner race just pulled right off. As for the rack, if you're replacing the tie rods too, then it'll make life a bit easier. You'll need a somewhat thin 32mm open ended wrench to tighten and torque the tierods to the rack. Chester Oh, and replacing the rack is a fairly straightforward DIY job. --- Luis Rueda <Luis_Rueda@Interliant.com> wrote: > I just took my '95 M3 (75K miles) to a shop to have some tires > mounted & they informed me that the steering rack has side- > to--side play & that it needs to be replaced. The kill switch turns the transponder off and resets the fuel trim on OBDII cars also. Curry's is a good shop. I've been taking my car there for a couple of years, and haven't had any problems. No experience with Imex. -- David Ripton dripton@ripton.net

Will this work OK for bare rims or should there be something wrapped around the rim edges to prevent dings there? -Steve Sharp > Date: Sun, 20 Apr 2003 18:56:50 -0700 > From: "Jim Files" <jsf1@san.rr.com> > Subject: RE: Re[2]: [E36M3] Q - Packing & Shipping wheels > > Thanks, Everyone, for the quick responses.
