I removed the 4 metal brackets (2 top, 2 bottom), but the glass seems firmly in place. What else do I need to do, does anyone have a procedure written up? TIA! IIRC, removing the metal brackets is all that's needed. The lens is held on also by a rubber gasket between it and the rest of the headlight assembly. It holds the lens pretty tightly, but from what I recall replacing my lenses several months ago there are no more fastners. Just pull real hard - and carefully :-) Hope that helps, Jim Bassett

THEN it will pull off. Jim > >Have a couple of minor rock chips that are bugging me on my Euro ZKW > >headlights, and so I pulled one out to see if I could remove/replace just the > >front glass. #5. Hoses, couplers and clamps - from HyperM3@aol.com
Top
Date: Sat, 03 May 2003 18:21:43 -0400 From: HyperM3@aol.com Subject: Hoses, couplers and clamps Hey all, I recently rebuilt some of the piping for my supercharger as I was getting vacuum leaks from old couplers. I found this place online www.turbohoses.com and dealt with a guy named Hoover. Turns out, he was the owner and treated me like I was a friend. I have to sincerely recommend this place for anything that anyone needs in terms of what they sell. The service was impeccable, the product is top notch (car is running great) and the feedback after shipment was above the call of duty. This company was truly the kind of company I prefer to deal with all the time. So anyone with a turbo, supercharger or even just wanting to replace intake tubing or clamps for any car, deal with this place. I have no affiliation to Turbohoses or Hoover. I'm just an exceptionally happy customer. And if anyone knows me, I'm hard to please... Alex "HyperM3" Demsky 97 S/C M3 ~ http://hometown.aol.com/hyperm3/Bimmer.html

Only issue I've run into using the 100 watters and the high temp kit from Eurosport is the fuse problem. The standard 7.5 amp fuse for the light isn't up to the current draw of 100 watt bulbs, about draws just over 8 amps at 12 volts and just over 7 at 14 volts. You'll need to replace the 7.5 amp fuse with a 10 or replace it about every mile. Date: Sun, 4 May 2003 18:43:02 EDT From: Mdriver13@aol.com Subject: shark injector question Group, While I was at the dealer Friday, I noticed they cleared my "Check Engine" light (it comes on every so often because of a small crack in the fuel vapor tank). Will this delete being sharked? Do I need to reinstall the program, or is it still there? BTW: Got the cat replaced after 7 years under warranty, due to the buzzing. A good deal. It would only get overwritten if they did a DME/software upgrade. Jim Bassett
