I don't know which vehicles that this changer fits in addition to 95 M3's (except that it is the non I-bus version) but it includes the CD cassette, mounting bracket and hardware. I am looking to get $250 shipped to anywhere in the US. Please email me off-list at jhowton@fotofab.com. Thanks for the bandwidth. At 10:37 AM 5/6/03, dbm7w@cavtel.net talked about: >Can anybody tell me what would be a typical charge for replacing both >lower control arms and bushings on the front of a 95M3? I was just given >$848 as an estimate. This seemed high. Depends, what was included in the estimate: parts, labor, alignment? It's probably a 2-3 hour job at least, plus an alignment will be required afterwards. I'd have to look up what control arms cost, I can't recall. Knowing what you got quoted for, and where you are located can help give us a better idea. Plus, if there's a list-member local to you, they can maybe recommend a good mechanic. Hope that helps, Jim Bassett 1998 M3/4 1992 325is #44 JP/A5

Parts will run you about $370 from www.bimmerparts.com and a $200 labor charge is probably reasonable. It is a DIY if you are handy. About a 7 one a 10 wrench scale the first time you do it. After that, probably more like a 5 :-) I included some info on the control arm change in my suspension write-up... http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3476 Good luck! #8. E-36 M3 Leaking differntial - from Jamie Howton
Top
Date: Wed, 7 May 2003 09:05:54 -0500 From: "Jamie Howton" <jhowton@fotofab.com> Subject: E-36 M3 Leaking differntial Hi all, After getting home from the Windy City BMWCCA DE at Road America this past weekend I noticed that my differential is now leaking from the left side output flange (95 M3). The LS is still working (both wheels turn in the same direction when one of them is turned by hand) so I am assuming that it's just the seal that is bad. Any BTDT on replacing it? Anything else I should do while I am in there? Is it likely that the right side is borderline now too? Any advice would be appreciated. #9. Peak Tool help - from Dmitri Zorine

Date: Wed, 07 May 2003 10:35:02 -0400 From: Dmitri Zorine <dzm3@technologyoasis.com> Subject: Peak Tool help Hi group, I got a CEL yesterday morning on the way to work. The car runs fine, so I suspect it's just some emissions crap, but would like to know which fault code exactly set off the light, to fix the problem, or just reset it. The stealer wants a flat charge of $89 just to read the code... So if there is anyone in greater Philly area or central NJ with the PeakTool willing to lend it to me for couple of minutes, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks Dmitri '99 M3
