#6. Brake light circuit - from Mo Karamat

Date: Tue, 01 Jul 2003 23:48:54 -0400 From: Mo Karamat <karamatm@optonline.net> Subject: Brake light circuit Dear All, I have had a strange error pop up on my on board computer.. For the past week or so, sometimes the check light comes on and "Brake Light circuit" displays on the computer. It will show up for a while, and then just disappear. The brake lights work fine when this error is displaying.. Any ideas? The car is still covered under my CPO warranty, so I could take it in, but that would be $50, if this is an easy fix, then why spend the cash.. Thanks Mo

Unless, of course, you high shring ratio tubing (4:1 vs. standard 2:1) but that's pretty expensive stuff. Try McMaster.com and search for heat shrink tubing. A 4" length of the stuff is nearly $40! Of course, you could always just get StopTech lines, which are already has the protective coating as part of their assembly process.
