Is the thermostat still stock? At 118k, it might be a nice time for a new one (and the pretty aluminum housing). Also, how's your water pump? :) (Mine went right around your mileage.) - Chris

#2. M Springs to 328is - from KResener@aol.com

Date: Tue, 11 Nov 2003 14:57:59 EST From: KResener@aol.com Subject: M Springs to 328is Hi all, I posted this late last week and maybe it got lost in the weekend, but I haven't heard from anyone. I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts. A friend of mine has a '97 328is coupe, and we're wondering if the stock springs from my '95 ///M3 (I switched to H&R Sports) would offer his car any advantage in handling or ride height. Anyone know? Thanks, Kurt '95 ///M3 w/ stuff....

Kurt, Your springs would be an improvement, but they wont fit. In '96 BMW went with short diameter springs. Your wider '95 M3 spring will not fit your friend's smaller diameter camber plate and front strut spring perch carrier/shield. alex f

#10. Radiator Check - from Steve Klein
Top
Date: Wed, 12 Nov 2003 11:01:32 -0800 From: Steve Klein <klein@robinsonad.com> Subject: Radiator Check "Thar she blows!" 126,891 miles on the original radiator in my 11/95 M3. So, what's the group record for this? I had just left my bank (after discovering it was a holiday) when it went, but there was one 'nub' on the neck that I could clamp the hose to and I was 100 feet away from a store with distilled water, so running with the cap lose I was able to drive 15 minutes in rush hour traffic with no problem. Not that I suggest anyone go for a record in this category ;?P Steve
