Well, they'd obviously lower the 328 a bit, but the suspension will now in theory be underdamped (stiff springs vs. soft shocks). Hard to say how much that would matter, although of course the 6 year old 328 probably has worn out shocks in any case. Your 95 front springs also have a larger upper seat diameter than those in the 328. They can be used by retrofitting the earlier pattern upper spring perches and rubber seats, but frankly this all begins to sound like more trouble than it's worth. Neil 96 M3

The car: 95 M3, stock suspension with exception of SA koni's and recently replaced RTAB's with the GC shims. I put on my snow wheels/tires (16's with 205-55 blizzaks) and ever since I've noticed that the back end feels squirrelly in a turn. The car will take a set, then roll some more and take another set. I can't tell if it's the sidewalls on the snows rolling over or what. It's very disconcerting and I don't remember it happening last winter with these same tires on the car. I've bumped up the tire pressures from 30psi to 34psi with no change... Any suggestions? Rear swaybar end links? -josh ===== __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I go through this every winter when I put the snows on. The car feels a lot less sure-footed with that hard winter rubber and big squirmy tread blocks. I know it's coming, yet I'm always surprised by how bad it is. You mention the rear specifically, but I find that I am just less confident in pushing the handling in general. I tend to drive a lot less aggressively until I get used to the snows, and that's with 225-45R17 tires. It must be an even bigger difference with your size. - Chris

#8. Water temp. gauge out? - from Joe Huie

It will occasionally move maybe 1/4 from the left, but basically stays toward the left side of the gauge. I recently had the radiator flushed, so I'm wondering if it's just a sending unit? Car seems to run fine, heat come in when I want it to. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Joe 1995 M3

#9. Looking for a place to store car and tire trailer in south Florida - from Vernon L. Anderson

Anderson" <vernon_anderson@yahoo.com> Subject: Looking for a place to store car and tire trailer in south Florida Hello everyone, Sorry for the multiple list cross-post. I'm searching for a place to store my M3 and tire trailer for the winter in the Fort Lauderdale area. I'm still technically living in Pittsburgh, but I'll be working in Fort Lauderdale for the next 6-8 months and I wanted to hit some of the South Florida tracks during the winter and maybe do a few autocrosses as well. I've done some casual research on self-storage garages, but I wanted to see if there were any other options out there. I have an E36 M3 and a Trailex Tire Toter (about 6-8 feet long). If anyone has any ideas of a place I could rent for a reasonable price, please let me know! Thanks, Vern Anderson
