Yes, this seems like the perfect time to upgrade your clutch to an E34 M5 clutch along with the UUC Motorwerks lightweight flywheel (Stage II if I recall correctly): www.uucmotorwerks.com I have it and highly recommend it. > I'll have the dealer replace so was also curious on the flat rate manual > charge. I bought mine at bimmerworld.com a couple of months ago. OBD-II cars... 4x O2 sensors!$$$$ Glad I got my old '95er with only one.... :-) Rick '95 M3

Date: Mon, 08 Dec 2003 13:00:15 -0800 From: Greg Cagle <gregc@gregcagle.com> Subject: Re: [E36M3] Driver door lock Is it that the key won't trigger the power locks? I've had that happen on the passenger side in my 98. I took the door panel off and looked at it, and there's a small metal link that runs from the key lock mechanism to something else that had come loose. I never could quite figure out how to get the damn thing back in there given the space constraints; I imagine it would be easier to remove the door handle and work from that side if that is indeed the problem. - Greg Chester Wong wrote: > Date: Mon, 8 Dec 2003 11:54:15 -0800 (PST) > From: Chester Wong <chester_p_wong@yahoo.com> > Subject: Re: [E36M3] Driver door lock > > Not too difficult to remove the door panel. OK now you know that the oil contains too much of Iron or copper or any other metal, what are you going to do? stop driving? Changing the camshaft? rebuilding the engine? Or this is one of those type iof nformation that one doesn't need to know? If this type of info is useful, then why not testing the transmission oil? Or for that matter differential oil? what about the coolant? maybe the air in the tires need to be tested too. Please correct me If i'm wrong. Henry 96 M3
