#3. CDV... - from Townsend, William

I do recall seeing something funny on the end of the hard line from the slave where it meets the flex hose. I am crawling under my 96' coupe tonight to look. UUC shows it in that very place, at the flex end. My e39 had a clutch delay valve (CDV) at the slave cylinder end, simple to remove and go direct hard line into the slave. That will not do, it will have to go. --Bill 96 M3 coupe red

Actually, the tumbler assemble will not turn to the right/clockwise. Any idea how to remove the SRS airbag cover to facilitate removal of the door panel/? Thanks KLB 99 M3/2 I originally asked: I have a 99 that the key no longer is able to lock the drivers door. All other (3 - ignition, passenger & trunk) locks work fine. The key will lock the drivers door no problem but will not turn clockwise to lock. Any experience out there? How difficult is it to remove a door panel that contains an airbag?
