I'm trying to locate the sending units, but can't locate them. Can anyone send me a good description (or picture) of where the temperature sending units are located? Also, is there a way to tell if they are working correctly or not. TIA, Dave

It does cost a little more than a shoebox and foam, however. Not even. Just push them firmly past the step on the shaft, where they want to hang up a bit, and then they'll slide fine the rest of the way. Neil 96 M3

I remember reading about this problem before of inaccuracies reported on the OBC. Dinan has a product for their supercharger that corrects this problem. Not sure about AA. Check on Dinan's web site or call them. A set of 15mm spacers, for the front, will be included. The spacers push the fronts right out to the fenders almost. Great fit. Rims and tires can also be bought separately. Price, for rims and tires alone, is $1750. Pics available. Rich Beebe

Doesn't a thermostat determine the minimum operating temperature, not the maximum? Once it opens it is up to the rest of the cooling system to do the job. So how does going to a cooler thermostat make the car run cooler? Unless the cooling system already was able to keep the temperature right at the warmer thermostat setpoint. If that was the case then the car really wasn't too hot then was it? thanks, Carl Stern 95 M3 30k
