Date: Thu, 5 Feb 2004 14:31:42 EST From: AVUSM3@aol.com Subject: Part# for fog lamp knockout? Nope...the part numbers listed completely replace the fog lamps in the bumper cover. You'll then probably want to paint them body color. John I'm sorry I'm enetering this discussion late.. I've broken 3 lenses in past 4 months. I think it's due to water condensation/heat.. Anyone have any answers? Thanks again. Jeff 7. Wheel weight. - from Jeff KumlerTopDate: Sun, 1 Feb 2004 10:54:22 -0800 (PST) From: Jeff Kumler <jdkumler@yahoo.com> Subject: Wheel weight. I am in the market for some new rims and tires. I was wondering if anyone knows how much a BMW M-Contour 8-1/2" rim weighs (now sold)? I remember someone once posted a link that had BMW rims weights listed, I did some searching but did not find it. Currently leaning towards SSR Silver Comps or BBS CH, but 6.5lbs more a wheel is a lot of weight to putting back on the car. But I really like the aesthetics’ of those BBS's. TIA, Jeff - Currently Shoeless M3.

If I press harder on the brakes it goes away. I am thinking a worn out lower control arm ball joint but am looking for what else might be the cause. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would stay away from the SSR Comps...they bend like buttah. BBS RKs are light and perhaps stronger than the SSR Comps. Having said that, maybe the SSR comps will find their way only the Elise since the Elise is a much lighter car...heheheeh. In fact, some people would say that it's just getting interesting once you get west of Denver. :-) Check www.roundel.org and search the chapter websites listed. Might find an event or three along the way. Have a great trip. Cheers, Kirk Lachman Sin City Chapter (somewhat west of Denver) '95 M3 #21 I-stock

I've heard conflicting stories on using the oil. Can I wash it out and leave it uncoated? Some say the oil creates clumping and that it really isn't required. If it needs a coating, where can I get it? Shel
