Preece" <ga.preece@att.net> Subject: caliper guides and sanding rotors Hey Guys, I am getting ready to do the brakes again (last time was 2.5 yrs ago). Has anyone tried the metal (brass?) caliper guide bushing sets? Feedback? Also, should I take a random orbital sander to the rotors? The rotors where replaced the last brake job. One more thing.my emergency brakes don't work worth squat. I know that I did not clean the inside of the rear rotors last time and was wondering if I needed new pads for that as well. Thanks. Gary PS - I will be rebuilding again since the dust boots have pulled out

Hey guys, Turns out the strip in my spoiler has gone bad on me. I'm pretty sure you can get just the light, but I need to know the part #... Circle BMW seems to think that you can't order the light seperately. Someone please say it ain't so! -josh ===== __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I don't think you can order the strip separately. Having said that, there is a strip in my bedroom right now because the body shop that repaired my car lost the wing while I held onto the strip so that that doesn't get lost. David, I believe that Marc Edwards on this list has a set for sale. I think he's looking to get around $36k for the set of four. Oh yeah, they come mounted-- in his '95 LTW. ;-) Sorry, couldn't resist. Jason Lombard '95 White/Black From: Boen168@aol.com Subject: Re: [E36M3] Anybody have M3 Lightweight springs for sale?? #6. 98 M3 spark plugs - from Reed

Date: Fri, 27 Feb 2004 08:19:21 -0800 From: "Reed" <reedthis@comcast.net> Subject: 98 M3 spark plugs I ordered Bosch plugs for my 98 M3 at a local parts store. When I picked them up yesterday, I noticed they were not the FGR8QKC plugs I had ordered, but FGR8QKE. When I brought this to the parts guy's attention, he looked in his database and said that the C suffix had been superceded by the E suffix plugs. Can anyone confirm this? I really don't want to install the wrong heat range plugs, or whatever that last letter refers to. TIA, Reed/Seattle

An additional 1 degree of negative camber should give you almost zero total toe-in, if you started with 1/16" total toe-in. Adding negative camber decreases toe-in. That's about 5/32nds of total toe change in or out. I haven't measured it, so cannot guarantee that this is so. Murray
