The only thing I noticed when switching from Pagid pads is that the HPS seems to have a bit less bite to them initially. I've only really noticed this during the past winter, so maybe it's a cold weather thing. Or, maybe the Pagid pads were more touchy, and this is more "normal." M '96 M3 2 door is equipped with TC Kline's Trackline kit with stock alignment (no extra camber). I run M-Contours 17x8.5s on all four corners for summer driving and am ready to replace the tires. With 235/40 Kumho ECSTA Supra 712s, I get some rubbing on very tight turns (parking lot maneuvers). The rubbing sounds like it is coming from the front inner wheel well. I am willing to consider rolling the fenders and adding spacers to eliminate the rubbing problem, but I would also like to go to slightly larger tires perhaps 245/40x17. Is anyone running a similar setup? If so, what tires are you running? Are spacers or rolled fenders part of the puzzle? Thanks! Date: Mon, 8 Mar 2004 10:19:54 -0800 From: Ragnar <klein@robinsonad.com> Subject: Dealer Diagnostic Scan Hi, Group- I have yet to figure out why my engine is running rough in the 1.5-2.5 k rpm range (and sometimes higher when driving) as if a cylinder is missing (I've replaced the plugs and coils, and the vacuum manifold on the valve cover.) and also periodically throwing the 1226 error code for the #2 knock sensor (which has been replaced once, only to have the code re-appear a few months later). My question is: Will the big diagnostic scanner at the dealer probe in-depth enough to reveal what might be causing these things? Plugs were uniform and normal, coils are fine, passing resistance checks and case inspection. Driver is a little loose. Car is an 11/95 M3 Thanks in advance, Steve

Of course, minimizing contact with the adhesive is the best way to go. Squeegee as much water out as you can with the plastic applicator, but don't worry if there's still some haze. It'll evaporate over time. Or go to an independent shop since this probably won't be warranty work. They might give you a free diagnosis/estimate.
